Overview

Support the Program Manager with administrative and planning support of program workflows.  Tracks actions against the Integrated Master Plan and Integrated Master Schedule.  

Responsibilities

  • Participate in meetings and communications with government stakeholders for the development and execution of the program.
  • Assist in facilitating contract efficiency.
  • Maintains electronic program folders/files (presentations, schedules, meeting minutes, and other deliverables).
  • Assist in the tracking of procurement efforts and contacting vendors/suppliers for materials and services.
  • Compile disparate efforts, documents, and actions to produce a variety of reports (e.g., status, monthly, etc.).
  • Complete word processing tasks to include proof-reading, editing, and finalizing documentation for presentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in the related field from an accredited educational institution or possess minimum 2 years of equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years project coordination/administrative experience.
  • Prior DoD or Department of the Navy Experience preferred (but not required).
  • Prior contracting experience preferred (but not required).
  • Experience supporting the development of computer based training products preferred (but not required).
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft (Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Outlook, Adobe (Acrobat, PDF) files.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with employees and management team to proactively meet and exceed Contract needs.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
  • Ability to coordinate several activities at once, quickly analyze and resolve specific problems, and cope with deadlines effectively.
  • Contribute to the fostering of positive office morale; be a team player.
  • Adapt to changes in the work environment and manage competing demands while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work in a self-directed, fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented.
  • Available for occasional travel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform diverse duties under operating and deadline constraints.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality.

Physical Demands

Frequent sitting, using hands/fingers, handling, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing and seeing up close, at a distance, along the periphery, with depth perception and the ability to adjust focus; occasional walking or standing, occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Work Environment

Work is performed in an office setting. Employee will be exposed to a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities and abilities.

Work Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours/week. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.
