Cyberspace Exercise Designer assist in developing, integrating, maintaining and analyzing cyberspace integration efforts (management of cyber story-lines/injects) into Marine Corps Tactical Operations Group’s (MCTOG) Tactical MAGTF Integration Courses (TMIC) and Battle Staff Training Program (BSTP) adaptive training programs.
The incumbent must possess in-depth knowledge and understanding of how to train Ground Combat Elements (Regimental and Battalion staffs), Special Purpose MAGTF staffs and Marine Expeditionary Brigade (MEB) staff to succeed in a simulated (constructive) hostile electromagnetic (EM) environment.
Civilian Education: Must have a Bachelor’s degree at a minimum.
Military Education: Career Level School (Expeditionary Warfare School (EWS)) and/or Intermediate Level School (Command & Staff equivalent) is preferred for those with an officer background. USMC Staff NCO Academy and Infantry Unit Leader Course (IULC) (or equivalent) is preferred for those with an enlisted background.
Frequent sitting, using hands/fingers, handling, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing and seeing up close, at a distance, along the periphery, with depth perception and the ability to adjust focus; occasional walking or standing, occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Work is performed in both an office setting, and outdoors. May operate in a Spartan environment where there is potential exposure to venomous snakes, poisonous plants, steep terrain, hot and cold dry and humid weather. Shipboard planning sites may be a requirement, and time underway may be required as necessary. May be exposed to sharp objects, some heat, loud noise, chemicals and vibration. Use of personal protective equipment is mandatory. Employee will be exposed to a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities and abilities.
40 hours per week and occasional overtime, with prior supervisor approval, as required to maintain operations and support the mission.
