Assists program and project management with evaluations of existing procedures, processes, or models related to management tasks.  Works with client to define needs and translate to programs.  May exercise discretion in documentation preparation and maintenance. Certain degree of creativity and latitude required.  



Provide support in a competent, professional manner that meets established milestones and delivery schedules in the following areas:

  • Perform correspondence action research, data gathering, data tracking, suspense tracking, ad hoc reviews, and various analyses as required;
  • Prepare draft weekly, monthly and quarterly reports;
  • Prepare various draft reports to Headquarters (HQs) including but not limited to Business Clearance,  Balanced Scorecard Critical Few, and Contract Changes;
  • Serve as an advisor on various teams, reviews, committees, and panels;
  • Keep PRO management advised of work progress, new issues, concerns, and other areas of significance;
  • Assist with contract closeout activities;
  • Assist with preparation of awards, modifications and amendments;
  • Assist with preliminary review of invoices and purchase card statements;
  • Assist with cost and price analysis;
  • Support various PRO systems (e.g., Strategic Integrated Procurement Enterprise System (STRIPES), Richland Integrated Management System, Balance Scorecard, Training, and Policy);
  • Scan contract records from paper and electronic format and enter into the STRIPES contract file; and
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of contractor and government personnel.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.


  • Requires an Associate's Degree, or equivalent, in relevant area of study
  • 2+ years relevant experience required
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Knowledge and experience in application of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and DOE FAR supplements (DEAR) preferred
  • Knowledge in the application of DOE acquisition policies, procedures, and guidelines preferred; experience in acquisition/contract document development
  • Experience supporting federal government agencies and/or DOE preferred
  • Proven experience with contract administration document development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks independently with dynamic priorities
  • Proficient in the use of  Microsoft Office 7 (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook) Adobe and Internet search engines, etc.
  • Must be able to lift & carry up to and excess of 30 lbs.
  • Moderate to extensive sitting; moderate standing, bending, twisting, lifting & reaching
  • Moderate to extended periods of office work with periods of computer usage
  • Occasional to moderate periods of analytical tasks requiring extensive reasoning abilities 



Physical Demands

Position consists of sitting for long periods of time, using hands/fingers, handling, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing and seeing up close, at a distance, along the periphery, with depth perception and the ability to focus; occasional walking or standing, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting boxes weighing up to 30 pounds.  Moderate to extended periods of office work with heavy periods of computer usage. May be assigned occasional to moderate periods of analytical tasks requiring extensive reasoning abilities. Work Environment

Work is primarily performed in a professional office setting, including the normal office equipment (e.g., computer, fax machines, copier) and with a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities and abilities.

Work Schedule

40 hours per week.  May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.
