Supports Asset Forfeiture Contract with the Internal Revenue Service in Washington, DC


  • Identify suspicious activity and prepare written analysis and reports in support of the IRS Asset Forfeiture program.
  • Analyze financial related information and prepare various enforcement trend analysis and forecasts and make recommendations based on analysis.
  • Correlate collected information and data to identify all possible sources of information to substantiate or refute information presently on hand.
  • Analyze collected information to produce a more complete picture of activities and support investigations currently under way.
  • Responsibilities include transaction analysis; case/alert processing; and special projects focused on specific risks.



  • General knowledge of the IRS Criminal Investigation Division’s organization, function, structure, sources and types of records maintained.
  • Specialized knowledge of methods, techniques and subject matter analysis to intelligence is desired, as are skills in researching, collecting and analyzing large amounts of raw data and tax related data from various sources.
  • Be highly self-motivated and able to adapt to various situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact will with all levels of staff is required.
  • Proficient using software applications, databases, spreadsheets and /or word processing.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Active Top Secret clearance is a must to meet contract requirements.


  • B.A. / B.S. degree in related field plus two years of relevant work experience.
